Education for Africa Variety Show
Following a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro in 2009 with his son Chris, Barry Finlay and his family have been raising money to help the children of Tanzania. They are now supporting a new Economic Development project that will help young women and youth establish small businesses so they can pay rent, buy groceries and send their children to school. The federal government will contribute $3 for every $1 raised for the project.
This will be an event for the entire family. We are very proud to announce a fun filled afternoon of entertainment. All proceeds will go to Plan Canada where they will be directed to the Economic Development project.

BEYOND REDEMPTION CHOIR
Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church Senior Choir celebrates over 30 years of musical ministry in Kanata. The thirty-eight member four-part harmony choir can proudly reflect upon its many contributions to parish life and to the community. From the singing of the first mass in the new parish building Christmas Eve of 1985 to the production of 2 CDs, an annual Advent evening of reflection, and a bi-annual Spring charitable fund-raising concert. As well, the Choir has participated in many parish celebrations by providing “musical nonsense” which has earned the group the name of “Beyond Redemption”. The choir has even taken their love of music on the road with trips to New York, Sudbury, and Cincinnati.
It will be a rollicking good time as the "Beyond Redemption Choir" close out the show with a little help from their friends.
